Torsij Motorsports was born from a burning passion for Time Attack racing. In 2016, Chesney, along with a group of friends, dove headfirst into the Dutch Time Attack competition. He chose the iconic Japanese import, the Nissan Skyline R33 GTST, powered by a roaring 2.5-liter inline-six turbo engine. This passion quickly expanded to include the German Time Attack and European Time Attack competitions.
After a few years, Chesney decided to strike out on his own. He soon forged a technical partnership with the renowned Austrian SLAPIT Performance. This collaboration, combined with his relentless drive and love for engineering, transformed the Nissan Skyline into a formidable racing beast, boasting an impressive 505 HP.
The birth of Chesney’s nephew, Taysir, marked a new chapter for Torsij Motorsports. Taysir quickly caught the racing bug and became a regular at Zandvoort, never wanting to miss a race of his uncle. In 2023, Taysir began karting, and by 2024, he had his own kart, completing the team and solidifying their racing legacy.
